Caroline Perkins has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry. She was editor-in-chief of ID, the magazine for foodservice distribution, for 10 years and is presently a contributing editor to Nation’s Restaurant News. She is also editor-in-chief of the Technomic Distributor Intelligence Report. She has consulted for a number of major food service manufacturers and is a sought-after speaker. She is the author of Customer Care & Feeding: The Ultimate B2B Selling Strategy, a book about putting the customer first and selling solutions, not products.
Patty Duffey spent 24 years with major foodservice manufacturers including General Mills, Multifoods, Sara Lee, and McQuay/Crystal Tips in sales, marketing and training leadership roles. She held executive positions in distribution at UniPro Foodservice and at her own equipment distribution company, Foremost Minnesota. Her experience also includes the operator, having held the position of advertising and promotion at Bakers Square Restaurants.
