Here's Why The New Publix Delivery Service Is Launching In Jacksonville

Shipt has one theme when it comes to its decision-making process: Give the customers what they want.

It's how the grocery-delivery service, which has made its name by delivering Publix groceries to your door here in Florida, decided to come to Jacksonville.

“We decided to take a different route,” said Anne Adams, community manager for Shipt. “We're going where the people want us.”

And that's what they do, quite literally: Shipt selects its next location based on the amount of emails, tweets and phone calls they get asking for them to bring their service to a certain city.
