City of Industry, CA: The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) has announced that they have awarded the 2017 Dressing of the Year to Girard’s Dressings, a leader in the dressings and sauces category, at ADS’s annual awards event held Oct. 7 through 9 in Nashville, Tenn. This prestigious award recognizes industry excellence and innovation.
The 2017 Dressing of the Year was Girard’s Dressings’ Jamaican Jerk Dressing variety. Since this was the first year that Girard’s Dressings, Inc. had submitted an entry, the win is highly celebrated.
“We are thrilled that our Jamaican Jerk dressing has received this honor from The Association for Dressing & Sauces,” said Rodney Naylor, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Girard’s Dressings, Inc. “This dressing is made with a unique and authentic blend of Jamaican spices that provides a sweet and tangy flavor with just enough heat. When used as a dressing, marinade or sauce, it provides versatility and menu inspiration to our many chef partners.”
While delicious, this dressing also boasts several health benefits including: no MSG, no high fructose corn syrup, vegan, fat free and high in fiber.
The Dressing of the Year Award is presented by ADS to celebrate excellence, innovation and taste in dressing products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via blind taste tests. ADS members voted for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste.
