G&C Foods Completes Jobs-Creating Addition In Van Buren, May Expand Again

Van Buren, N.Y. — G&C Foods has completed a 70,000-square-foot addition to its big warehouse and distribution center in Van Buren, and it may not be done expanding.
The company has completed construction of the addition on the west side of its building at 3407 Walters Road, giving the facility a total of 346,000 square feet of space. G&C President Rich Chapman said the company will begin storing food on the building's extensive shelving system in the next two weeks.
G&C has been growing rapidly. It has hired 75 new employees over the past year, bringing to 365 its total workforce in Van Buren. All its employees are full time.
