Fresh Thyme Farmers Market Plans Five Grocery Stores In Omaha

A new-to-Omaha grocery store specializing in fresh produce plans five locations in the Omaha metro area.

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market will open a store at 132nd Street and West Center Road this fall, and is scouting locations in the Lakeside area of west Omaha and in Papillion, Chief Executive Chris Sherrell told The World-Herald.

Fresh Thyme previously announced plans for two other area stores. One is set to open this spring, at the West Grayhawk commercial development at 150th Avenue and West Maple Road, and another would be part of the planned Crossroads Village redevelopment at 72nd and Dodge Streets. A Lincoln store is on track to open in early 2016 at 52nd and O Streets.
