SACRAMENTO, Calif.– Sacramento City Councilwoman Bonnie Pannell and City Manager John Shirey today joined Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market CEO Tim Mason to celebrate the opening of the company’s first two stores in the Sacramento region. In total, Fresh & Easy will open five stores in the region this month, creating more than 150 new jobs.

Three additional Fresh & Easy stores are scheduled to open next week on Wednesday, March 14th:

For each store opening, Fresh & Easy invites neighbors to nominate a local, non-profit organization to receive a $1,000 donation; recipients of today’s donation are the Stanford Home for Children and the Sacramento Children’s Museum.
