Duro Bag Manufacturing Names VP Of Foodservice Sales

CINCINNATI — Bob Leblanc, a 28-year veteran of the foodservice industries, is named Vice President of Foodservice Sales for Duro Bag Manufacturing Co., the world’s largest manufacturer and marketer of quality paper bags for foodservice, grocery, retail, mass-merchandise and wholesale/distribution businesses in North America.

“He has deep industry experience, understands how to meet and exceed customer needs, and is accustomed to selling quality products. He has developed outstanding relationships within the industry. He will help us meet the needs of our foodservice customers and grow our business with them.”
.Leblanc most recently served as Vice President of Foodservice Sales for Solo Cup Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales for Solo’s $1 billion foodservice sales revenue business.

Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of Blackstone Applications LLC, a leading provider of end-to-end trade management solutions for consumer packaged goods manufacturers. Leblanc also had a 20-year career with Kraft Foods (NYSE: KFT), the world’s second largest food company, selling snacks, beverages, cheese, meats and grocery items through the foodservice channel.

At Duro Bag, Leblanc is responsible to lead all aspects of Duro Bag sales and marketing in the foodservice channel of trade. He reports directly to John Gillen, President and Chief Operating Officer for Duro Standard Products.
