LOUISVILLE, Colo. — Door to Door Organics, a leading natural and organic online food delivery service, will begin delivering boxes of farm-fresh organic produce and curated natural, local groceries to Northeastern Ohio residents’ doorsteps tomorrow, May 19, from a brand new warehouse in Solon, Ohio—with no delivery fee.
Door to Door Organics only partners with farmers and ranchers who are committed to the health of the land and the welfare of the animals they raise. As a part of the company’s distinctive approach to online grocery, Door to Door Organics has already forged significant partnerships with local farms and producers, including Hartzler Family Dairy, Green Field Farms, Phoenix Coffee, Shagbark Seed & Mill, JB’s Best Salsa, and Good Greens protein bars. During the growing season, Ohio customers will be able to choose from a selection of local produce for their regular weekly or biweekly deliveries without a delivery fee, thanks to an integrated mix of distributors and farmers offering USDA-certified organic produce.
“Our guiding business principle is ‘as nature intended,’ and our new partnership with Door to Door Organics embodies this mission based on their shared commitment to sourcing locally and supporting businesses that prioritize the health of its consumers and the environment,” said Janis Steiner of Hartzler Dairy. “We are excited to join forces with Door to Door Organics and look forward to bringing our delicious dairy products to even more local customers, straight to their doorstep.”
For residents curious about trying an online grocery service, the ordering process is simple. On the website, new customers choose a box size, type of box (either veggie, fruit or mixed produce) and the frequency of delivery (weekly or biweekly). Customers receive an email with a list of items scheduled to be in the box and have the ability to customize their order by adding and removing items before it’s delivered. Door to Door Organics also has a #JoyDelivered guarantee, so customers can trust that the goodies in their boxes are picked and carefully packed by people as picky about food as they are.
“I am tremendously proud of our new Door to Door Organics family in Ohio, who have been working tirelessly to prepare for our first deliveries this week,” said Chad Arnold, CEO of Door to Door Organics. “The area farmers and high-quality local producers who are already on board and available through our dynamic Shop section are fantastic partners, and we look forward to many more collaborations to support our Cleveland, Akron and surrounding customers for years to come.”
To further integrate with the Cleveland and Akron communities, Door to Door Organics was a proud sponsor of this year’s Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon and looks forward to being involved in many more community events this fall and summer, such as the Sustainability Summit in September, Towpath Marathon in October and the Fabulous Food Show in November.
Founded in 2005, Door to Door Organics currently operates in 12 markets and 55 cities. Since its founding, Door to Door Organics has made more than 2 million deliveries.
