CSC Worldwide Cuts 94 Jobs As It Exits Grocery Business

CSC Worldwide has exited one of its business lines, leading to 94 job cuts at the Columbus retail fixtures supplier.

The company said in a filing with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services that it shuttered a plant at 4401 Equity Drive on the west side and eliminated the 94 jobs as of Aug. 9.

CSC builds and supplies retail fixtures, including dairy cooler cases and salad bars, fitting rooms and display walls, for grocery and specialty retail stores. The cuts came in the grocery division and at some shared support positions it had with the specialty retail group.
