Arby’s To Add Salad As Alternative To Fries

Arby's is adding a "market fresh chopped side salad" to its menu as an alternative to fries in combo meals, at no extra cost. The salad is available now at company-owned restaurants and will roll out nationwide in July.

"Our customers are telling us they want to feel good about the choices they're making when eating out," said Warren Chang, chief innovation officer for taste, quality and the customer experience. Chang said customers will be able to get a full meal at Arby's for fewer than 500 calories.

The new salad has 70 calories, and "lite Italian dressing" is 20 calories.
