Boston, MA – Maristella’s Fine Foods announced today that their line of Authentic, All Natural Sicilian Arborio Rice Seafood Arancini’s is now available for foodservice operators everywhere. The Arancini line, inspired by an old family recipe, is made with authentic Italian Arborio Rice harvested from the Po Valley in Northern Italy. This traditional Sicilian treat is made with the finest seafood, all natural herbs and a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella. The new line comes in five seafood flavors; Salmon, Shrimp, Lobster, Crab and Scallop.
The Arancini’s are sized to fit multiple menu price points, which makes them ideal for menu applications like small plates and bar menus. With Maristella’s Fine Foods Arancini’s, operators have new options to reduce cost and increase their profit margins with a high quality product.
During the 2011 International Boston Seafood Show, Maristella’s Fine Foods’ Seafood Arancini’s were recognized as one of eight finalists for best new product. Over 100 new products were entered into the new product showcase during the show.
The line is available in the five exciting seafood varieties:
- Wild Caught Blue Crab with Gorgonzola Cheese and Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s are made with 100% wild caught Blue Crab, Arborio Rice, and three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs and uncured Nitrate and Nitrite free Bacon.
- Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon with White Wine and Capers Arancini’s are made with wild caught Alaskan Smoked Salmon, Arborio Rice, and three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
- Wild Caught Scallops with Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s are made with wild caught Scallops, Arborio Rice, and three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs and Nitrite free Bacon.
- Wild Caught North Atlantic Lobster with Sherry Cream Sauce Arancini’s are made with wild caught North Atlantic Lobster, Arborio Rice, and three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
- Wild Caught Shrimp with All Natural Pesto Arancini’s are made with North Atlantic or North Pacific wild caught Shrimp, Arborio Rice, and three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
All five flavors are available in 10lb. bulk cases and can be purchased either breaded fried or breaded un-fried. Maristella’s Fine Foods’ Arancini’s are a great source of protein and Omega-3.
