Iselin, NJ – Allegiance Retail Services, LLC has announced the addition of two new Category Managers to its team.
Martha Granado has joined Allegiance Retail Services as Category Manager – Grocery and Ethnic. Martha comes to Allegiance with a strong understanding of the supermarket co-op environment having spent 10 years at Wakefern Food Corporation. Martha’s career began as a Procurement Analyst in 2004 and was promoted in 2011 to Category Manager – Grocery. Martha has experience managing multiple Grocery categories, including Private Label. In addition, Martha brings a strong background in merchandising and marketing to the Hispanic communities.
Vince Colatriano, Vice President – Grocery stated, “I am proud to welcome Martha to Allegiance. Her addition to our team will enhance the Ethnic and Grocery merchandising we provide to our stores.”
Edward Kaulfers has joined Allegiance Retail Services as Category Manager – Deli. Ed’s 25 year career in the supermarket industry began as an Ice Cream/Frozen Food Category Analyst at Wakefern where he spent 13 years increasing levels of responsibility to Buyer – Frozen Food and Category Manager – Dairy/Deli. Ed also worked as a buyer in Dairy/Deli with GHI Wholesale Grocers. In 2001, Ed began his most recent position as a Merchandiser/Buyer for Dairy/Deli/Bakery at Key Food Stores Cooperative.
Steve Hungerbuhler, Vice President – Dairy/Deli/Frozen stated, “Ed’s previous records of success, coupled with his extensive background in Deli, will be an invaluable asset to Allegiance.”
