Women’s Health Names Dole’s Endless Summer Salad Kit One Of The Best Packaged Foods For Women

MONTEREY, Calif. – Dole’s Endless Summer All-Natural Salad Kit has been included in Women’s Health Magazine’s 125 Best Packaged Foods for Women, one of the most prestigious honors for new food products. The salad kit appears in the publication’s October 2011 issue.

Introduced in April 2011, Endless Summer DOLE All-Natural Salad Kit pairs crisp romaine lettuce and crunchy shredded carrots with Swiss and Gruyere cheeses, oven-baked croutons, roasted sunflower kernels, dried herbs and Dole’s Own Summer Vinaigrette dressing. It is part of Dole’s ongoing commitment to all-natural salad kits, the industry’s first nationally distributed salad kit line to combine farm-fresh lettuces and vegetables with all-natural toppings and salad dressings.

Dole’s Endless Summer is one of ten “Fruits & Veggies” products on the Women’s Health list, and the only non-organic salad kit to be featured. It was specifically cited by the publication as a “slim-down pick” that “wards off cancer” and “fights heart disease.”

The 10.8-ounce Endless Summer kit is available at retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $3.99.
