Wenatchee, WA, USA – The Washington Apple Commission Wenatchee office will host its inaugural Facebook contest during the month of November. The “I love Washington apples!” photo contest will consist of consumers posting a photo of themselves enjoying a Washington apple with the hashtag #WashingtonApples to the WAC Wenatchee Facebook page. Winning photos will be those with the highest numbers of “Reactions” at the end of the contest time period, which will run from November 1st through November 30th, 2016.
One grand prize winner and three first prize winners will be selected at the close of the contest. The grand prize winner will be the entrant with the photo receiving the highest number of total “Reactions” (Like/Love/Wow etc.) and the first prize winners will be the photos with the second, third, and fourth highest numbers of total Reactions over the contest. The grand prize winner will receive a prize pack of 3 Crispy stress balls (one each in red, green, and yellow), and three first prize winners will each receive a prize pack of 1 Red Crispy stress ball. The winners will be announced on or around Friday, December 2nd, and prizes will be shipped on or before December 15, 2016. The contest is open to residents with a mailing address within the 48 contiguous states but not Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
This contest will also take place simultaneously across several of our international Facebook pages, including Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Middle East, and on the Weibo platform in China.
