LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, Valley Fruit & Produce, announced the recent hiring of Kurt W. Hubbart to further develop the growing portfolio of Regional and National Accounts of Valley. Kurt will operate Valley’s office in Wenatchee and will manage procurement of all Northwest commodities including apples, pears, onions, potatoes and cherries.

Kurt comes with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent fifteen years working in the retail sector as a produce manager, sales manager and buyer for Albertsons, and fourteen years of sales and marketing experience at Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers, one of the first exporter of Washington Apples. During those years, Kurt was instrumental in developing numerous large corporate accounts.

Kurt joins the company as Category Manager. Kurt comments “I am excited to start a new challenge within Valley and look forward to working with the team to further develop their already extensive product and service suites. I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself of top quality service.”
