DENVER (March 31, 2010) Molly Connors of Richland, WA, was elected to the United States Potato Board (USPB) Executive Committee at the organizations 38th Annual Meeting held in Denver, CO, March 9-12. Connors is serving her third year on the USPB, and first year as Co-Chairman of the Domestic Marketing Committee. She previously served for two years on the USPB Administrative Committee as a member of its International Marketing Committee.
Co-Chairing the USPB Domestic Marketing Committee is a great opportunity, Connors said. The group has done an excellent job implementing the PotatoesGoodness Unearthed campaign, and I think it truly resonates with our target audience Linda. I look forward to being a part of continuing to grow the campaign and creating an emotional connection with our consumer that will ultimately increase loyalty to and consumption of potatoes.
Connors grew up with potatoes and represents part of the third generation of Skone and Connors Produce, Inc, a diversified agricultural operation involved in the production, packing and marketing of potatoes, onions, apples, alfalfa and wheat.
