When students at the University of Miamis law school get the munchies, they can now head to the vending machine without breaking their New Years resolutions.
Forget the cookies, candy bars and potato chips. The Student Bar Association and UMs administration have installed a new Del Monte vending machine that offers fresh cut fruits and vegetables.
The vending machine contains items that have less than 120 calories each and includes bananas, pineapples, apple slices, grapes, baby carrots, and celery. Prices range from $1 to $2.25.
