Coral Gables, Florida – Turbana and THR33FOLD are excited to announce that the social media campaign “Win $25K For Your Cause” won the 2015 Web Marketing Association’s Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Award for Best Social Network Social Media Campaign. Even more exciting, Turbana is the first brand within the food industry to be honored with the award for Best Social Network Social Media Campaign and the first fresh produce brand globally to be recognized for a social media campaign by the IAC. Judged on its innovation within the social media realm and use of the different social networks, the award winning social media campaign was created in partnership with THR33FOLD, an integrated marketing agency with one of its specialties being the food industry. Produced by the Web Marketing Association, the IAC is an annual awards program that honors excellence in online advertising. First conducted in 1999, it is the first and only competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising. Nominations are judged based on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, use of medium and memorability.

“THR33FOLD perfectly understands Turbana’s commitment to its communities and our goal to promote positive change,” says Marion Tabard, Director of Marketing at Turbana. “THR33FOLD did a fantastic job at developing a campaign that gave our communities a voice of their own, an opportunity to take action and make a difference for themselves, while staying true to our company’s values.  We’re honored to receive the IAC award as it’s a great achievement that demonstrates the dedication and passion that THR33FOLD and Turbana put in everything we do.”

“Win $25K For Your Cause,” housed entirely on Turbana’s Facebook page, was created in order to activate and empower Turbana’s social community. The contest asked people to nominate and vote for community causes. During the six-week campaign over 80 communities across America came together in support of causes they felt passionate about.
