AVONDALE, Pennsylvania – To-Jo Mushrooms completes another successful Health Fair. To-Jo’s 2nd annual Health Fair was held at its Avondale facilities on Tuesday, October 25th. The Fair was organized by a team of Wellness Ambassadors and highlighted To-Jo’s commitment to employees’ health and well-being.
Over 200 employees participated in the daylong event which featured 13 area vendors and local health professionals, offering on-site biometric and vision screenings, flu shots, a kick boxing demo, chair massages, and Salsa dancing. Healthy mixed berry smoothies, along with fresh fruit and chicken mushroom fajitas were served during lunch.
Employees were given the opportunity to learn how low calorie, healthy meal options could be prepared at home through interactive demos and recipe handouts. Keeping with the healthy theme, a variety of raffle prizes were donated by local vendors; including Nutri Ninja blenders, Fit Bits, area gym memberships and a basket of Yoga supplies.
