Terra Exports Welcomes Michael Burbank To Lead Their US West Coast Division

LAS VEGAS  –?  Terra Exports announces the addition of Michael Burbank to their leadership team as the  ? U.S. West Coast Director of Sales. As a continued part of their customer centric focus, Terra created the role to benefit their customer base who now have a dedicated US west coast fruit expert at their service. Burbank manages U.S. West coast grapes, apples, stone fruit, citrus, and cherries, while visiting supply partners in person to oversee and guarantee clients are receiving the highest quality fruit shipments. 

Burban?k brings key experience in both sales and logistics including markets Terra Exports had not previously focused on, filling a crucial need for the company to develop a new division focused entirely on US West Coast fruit exports. Burbank brings a wealth of logistics knowledge from his service with the US Army as a logistics supervisor to becoming a logistics team leader for a private security contractor where he managed a budget of $44M for shipping and logistical needs. He also brings key sales experience from his most recent position where he managed the shipment of $50M (700 shipping containers) of fresh fruit throughout Asia.

Burbank states, “In my last position, I worked in this same industry for a well­regarded trading firm. I managed many of the commodities from the U.S. West coast, to both Asia and the Middle East. I have an undying passion for the agriculture industry having grown up on a vineyard with my family. I spent time serving in the U.S. Army and after my service, working for a private security contractor in Afghanistan. These experiences have prepared me for this crucial role with Terra Exports to further move the company towards their growth goals.”
