Salinas, CA — Tanimura & Antle, leading grower of fresh vegetables is gearing up to showcase its Artisan Lettuce at two upcoming events to further engage consumers, chefs and editors; the Pebble Beach Food & Wine and Sunset Magazine’s “Celebration Weekend.” The company will be distributing samples of Artisan Lettuce at both events, and spreading the word about its new “Celebrate Summer” promotion and sweepstakes that hits shelves May 1st and runs through the end of July.
Open April 28th through May 1st, the Pebble Beach Food & Wine event is a truly culinary experience with an array of food and wine booths, cooking demos with celebrity chefs, wine seminars, tastings and more. Samples of Tanimura & Antle’s Artisan® Lettuce will be distributed in the Lexus Grand Tasting Tent on both Saturday and Sunday from the Tanimura & Antle Market Cart near the tent entrance. Delicious appetizers featuring the complete Tanimura & Antle Artisan® line which include Artisan Lettuce, Artisan Romaine and Artisan Sweet Italian Red Onions will also be sampled in the Viking Pavilion Chef Demo tent at Spanish Bay on both Friday and Saturday. This is the 4th consecutive year Tanimura & Antle has sponsored this fast growing event that also makes donations to several non-profit organizations.
Sunset Magazine’s “Celebration Weekend” will be held June 4th and 5th and is now in its 14th year. Attracting around 20,000 people, the event brings the magazine to life with gardens, a test kitchen, seminars and mingling with editors as well as quality makers of food and wine. Participating for the first time, Tanimura & Antle will be featuring Artisan Lettuce, as well as other fresh vegetables from their Artisan Lettuce Trailer.
