Springdale, Arkansas based Schmieding Produce is announcing Trent Woerner as its new President. Trent began working for Schmieding Produce as its Vice President of Business Development in 2015 after it was acquired by Woerner Holdings. He is taking over the role from previous President Lester Woerner.
Trent has worked alongside his father, Lester, in its agricultural business enterprises since childhood. His business expertise will help Schmieding in its continued growth and long term success.
“As the Company realigns its management team in order to effectively execute its future growth plans, Trent represents the next generation of leadership at Schmieding. Over the past several years, Trent has worked directly with me on decision making at the highest level. I look forward to the continued growth and success at Schmieding,” Lester Woerner, Woerner Holdings Chairman, said in the release.
