Since leaving PMA in September of 2009 as the primary architect and lead staff of the PTI, Gary has been working extensively with various growers, shippers, packers, distributors, retailers and operators over the last two years to help them with their strategies for PTI implementation. In this session, Gary will focus on some key hurdles found through his experiences and offer some of the solutions to these hurdles. He will only be covering some of the key hurdles found in the following areas:
* GTIN assignment and administration
* Maintaining source lot information
* Matching products to GTINs in a multi-product pack line
* Method of applying case information
* Case labeling vs. traceability
