Santa Clara, CA – RedLine Solutions today announced that their June PTI webinar, “PTI Experts Discuss ASN” will feature special guest speaker Ed Treacy, PMA’s Vice President of Supply Chain, and Gary Fleming, RedLine Solutions’ Vice President of Strategic Services.
The ASN (Advanced Ship Notice) is an electronic document that can be used to advise the receiver of the contents of a shipment prior to receiving. Many large buyers require the use of ASN which is sent via a third-party solutions provider or directly from their supplier. The ASN can include GTIN and Lot/Batch information for PTI compliance. It can also be used to notify buyers about internal and external product substitutions. In this webinar, Gary Fleming, RedLine's Vice President of Strategic Services, will provide clear explanations to help grower shippers understand the ASN and why it is important to your customers. Ed Treacy, will provide some insight on the PTI guidance as well as share insights on the ways the buying community might use the ASN.
Webinar attendees will learn: what ASNs are and why they matter; how to use an ASN; where within the ASN to indicate key information; how the ASN is used on hybrid pallet tags; PTI guidance for the ASN; and how the buying community may use ASNs.
This webinar will take place on June 20th at 11AM Pacific Time. For more details, or to register for this seminar and other events, visit the RedLine website at www.redlineforproduce.com/events.
