PRO*ACT Names New VP Of Client Development

MONTEREY, CA – PRO*ACT, the produce supply-chain management company, has announced that Kristie Waters joined the company as Vice President of Client Development. Waters is a produce industry veteran with experience in sales, marketing and business development. She will work with the client development team to achieve its goal of ensuring awareness of the benefits of PRO*ACT and strengthen strategic relationships with existing and prospective clients.

David Peterson, Senior Vice President of Sales, says, “We needed someone to fill this role who understands the industry, has business development experience and relates well with customers. Kristie fits that bill. She has held positions in sales, marketing and business development and has had years of experience interacting with customers. We are happy to welcome her to the team.”

Waters most recently was director of sales for Gulf Coast Produce in Biloxi and prior to that, in sales and marketing for The Garden Produce in Jacksonville, Fla. She began in the industry in 2002 and has built her career by learning to identify customer needs. She worked with such high-profile clients as Foodbuy and retail customers.

Waters will report to David Peterson, Senior Vice President of Sales.
