New Apple Brand Pazazz Available Now In Toronto Stores

Move over Honeycrisp, the next generation has arrived and it’s full of Pazazz!

After 10 years of development, the new apple with the crunchy texture of its Honeycrisp mom and its very own burst of sweet-tart flavour is available from now until the end of February.

Nova Scotia grower Michael Van Meekeren, who travelled to Toronto for the recent launch of Pazazz in select Loblaws stores, says he knows how confusing the apple category has become, but he’s confident you’ll love this new variety, now in its third season of production.

“When we sample Pazazz in-store, people have a look that says there’s no possible way I can surprise them with the slice of apple I’m about to give them,” says Van Meekeren. “Then they take a bite and go ‘Wow!’ It’s more sweet and more tart than most other apples.”
