Naples, FL – Sept. 30, 2010 – Naturipe Farms announced today the appointment of Brian Jenny to the newly created position of Director of Business Development (East Coast), effective Oct 4, 2010.
In this role, Brian will have the responsibility of leading the East Coast sales team, servicing the existing client base and developing new business opportunities in the retail, foodservice and wholesale channels.
“Brian brings an extremely strong skill set, management style and proven track record to Naturipe Farms” said Jim Roberts, Vice President of Sales. “He has a keen understanding of the East Coast retail marketplace, in addition to experience working with foodservice operators and national restaurant chains”.
Brian comes from Monterey Mushrooms, Inc. where he worked since 2002, most recently as the Director of Sales/Eastern Region. “I've been fortunate in my career to work for great industry-leading companies. Naturipe Farms is rapidly becoming one of the gold standard produce organizations in our industry” said Brian Jenny. “I am excited to become part of an organization that has a strong future with long term strategic goals, in a category that continues to be a leader in produce sales.

Brian has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics from Clemson University. He has been active with PMA and the Southeast Produce Council. He and his wife Tracy live outside of Atlanta with their two daughters.
