Back by popular demand, the SunBursts® Snacking MVP campaign encourages retailers and consumers alike to have fun and get creative with NatureSweet SunBursts® tomatoes.
For retailers, the Snacking MVP’s 2016 Sales Contest rewards entrants’ with two tickets to the winner’s choice of one regular season 2016 professional or regional collegiate football game. Entrants are judged on SunBursts® displays featuring the appropriate program signage and reported year-to-year sales increases. The contest period for retailers runs from January 4 – February 6, 2016.
For consumers, NatureSweet, in partnership with Food52, encouraged people across the country to share their best original SunBursts® appetizer for the chance to win a $500 prepaid gift card and prime placement in Food52’s recipe search. Six winners were announced as Community Picks. From there two will be chosen as contest finalists, and one lucky grand prize winner will be chosen to receive a $1,500 prepaid gift card. The winning recipe will be announced on February 3. Consumers are also invited to continue to share their favorite SunBursts® recipes on NatureSweet’s Facebook (Facebook.com/NatureSweet) or Twitter (Twitter.com/NStomatoes) pages with the hashtag #SnackingMVP.
