GLENDALE, CA – MIXTEC Group, the #1 retained executive search firm in produce announced today that they have hired Emily Fragoso as an Associate Recruiter. Fragoso assumed the new role on August 15.
Fragoso brings more than 12 years of produce industry experience as a communications, marketing, public relations and business strategy expert. She has represented industry associations, private companies and consulting firms in a variety of executive roles.

Fragoso also holds the position of Director of Business Development for Status Gro, a consulting firm founded by Jin Ju Wilder dedicated to helping businesses grow through strategic planning, innovation and teamwork. Prior to joining MIXTEC Group and Status Gro, Fragoso held the lead marketing position at Coast Produce Company. She is credited with creating and implementing marketing programs such as the Coast Snacking Line, Coast Organic and Farmer’s Select; two of which won the Produce Business Excellence in Marketing Award.
A dedicated volunteer, Fragoso currently holds a position on the United Fresh Produce Association Board of Directors and is a past alum of the United Fresh Produce Association’s Leadership Program. She was also named one of Produce Business’s 40 Under Forty Leaders. Within her community, Emily serves on the California State University, Fullerton Alumni Association Board of Directors and writes an occasional guest column for the Orange County Register.
