Michael P. Maddan, Sr., CEO and Chairman of the Board of Maddan & Company, Inc., passed away on Sunday , October 11, 2015 at his residence in San Francisco.
With over 45 years in the Food Industry, Michael Maddan, Sr. worked at the family Food Brokerage company that his father founded in 1947. With his positive, outgoing and generous nature, he had a way of making each day special.
In 1982, he served as the President of the Northern California Food Brokers Association. He was an active member of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council and the Produce Marketing Association. Michael P. Maddan, Sr. was also involved within the City of Hope Northern California Food Industries Circle.
Michael Maddan, Sr. was devoted to his family. He was married to Lynn Maddan for almost 40 years, a Father of four: Patricia, Heather, Michael, Jr. and Alexis and a Grandfather of six: Sicily, Asher, Jackson, Ryder James, Shane, and Dylan.
Michael P. Maddan, Sr. looked forward to welcoming the 4th generation into the family business and having Maddan & Company, Inc. celebrate a 100 year anniversary.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th
