M. Levin and Company, Inc., was established in 1906 and is entirely family owned and operated by its third and fourth generations. M. Levin’s roots are in the banana ripening and distribution business but have since expanded into a full-line wholesale produce house, with their specialties being bananas and tropical fruits and vegetables. M. Levin is one of the largest ripeners and banana foodservice distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region, ripening over 35,000 boxes weekly.
The website will give M. Levin’s customers, suppliers, family and friends, as well as members of the public insight into the family’s rich history – which can be viewed through a creative timeline along with pictures spanning the company’s 107 years in business, as well as providing an opportunity to connect with their buyers and salesmen, members of the family, as well as view M. Levin’s extensive list of products and services offered. The website also gives people the option to easily sign up for M. Levin’s newsletters, as well as price lists and to receive additional information.
M. Levin sees this launch as something entirely new for their company. It was only in the past two years that the company has had an online presence with social media, on Facebook (be sure to like their page, M. Levin and Company Inc.).
