Logistics Community Names C.H. Robinson The Top 3PL

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — For the fourth consecutive year, C.H. Robinson, one of the world’s largest third-party logistics (3PL) companies, has been named the #1 3PL by the readers of Inbound Logistics magazine.

The annual Top 10 3PL Excellence Awards, organized by Inbound Logistics, are an opportunity for supply chain professionals from small, medium, and large companies across a broad range of industries to commend the logistics providers they believe offer the best service, reliability, and communication. C.H. Robinson has been included on the Top 10 3PL Excellence Awards list each year since the survey launched in 1998.

C.H. Robinson invests in finding and building talent throughout the organization and around the world. Providing customers with support and expertise through single points of contact is a strong principle of C.H. Robinson’s approach to the market. The same support is also afforded to employees and reflected by the recent announcement of C.H. Robinson’s 13th appearance as a best place to work by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal on their 2014 “Best Places to Work” list.

“At C.H. Robinson, our people have always been one of our strongest competitive advantages,” said Ronnie Davis, director of account management at C.H. Robinson. “Being named the #1 3PL, for the fourth consecutive year, shows that our customers, contract carriers, and suppliers consistently recognize our people and their dedication and commitment to them.”

As supply chain decisions move from the back room to the boardroom due to changing market needs, C.H. Robinson’s portfolio of services and global capabilities continue to assist customers as they strive to improve their transportation and supply chain strategies. The deployment of C.H. Robinson’s new tagline, Accelerate Your Advantage®, adds emphasis to this effort.
