Salinas, California – Ippolito International has hired two industry veterans: Jason Grolnick as Sales/Commodity Manager and Jon Kiley as Director of Value-Added/Business Development.
Jason joins Ippolito with over 30 years of produce experience. His produce career started in 1997, as a buyer for Markon, then later transitioned to the sales side of the business at NewStar Fresh Foods. For the last 15 years, Jason has worked as a Senior Account Manager at Tanimura and Antle where he contributed to the company’s foodservice growth. Jason will continue to build relationships with foodservice customers while developing new distribution channels for Ippolito.
“I’m excited to be part of one of the fastest growing companies in the industry and look forward to the new challenge,” says Jason.
Jon Kiley brings over 25 years of retail and foodservice experience. In this newly created role, Kiley will lead strategic initiatives to expand the company’s value-added business. Before joining Ippolito, Jon worked for Earthbound Farms where he held a variety of roles and responsibilities from strategic planning, retail and foodservice business development, to sales and account management.
“Jason and Jon are a great addition to the Ippolito sales force. Both bring a wealth of experience and knowledge which will help with our company’s short and long term strategic goals for both value-added and commodity sales,” states Dan Canales, Sr. VP of Sales, Marketing and Processing.
Jason Grolnick and Jon Kiley joined Ippolito International in July 2019.
