Albion, NY – Intergrow Greenhouses Inc. located in Albion, NY has expanded its operations with an additional 15 acre greenhouse located in Portageville, NY. With the additional greenhouse and newly completed 18 acre expansion at the Albion facility, Intergrow now has a total of 63 acres under glass providing year round locally grown tomatoes. The expansion and multiple locations allows Intergrow to branch out farther in surrounding regions delivering fresh, fully ripened tomatoes to outlets within 24 hours of harvest.

With the newly acquired 15 acre greenhouse, Intergrow will also be introducing premium beefsteak tomatoes to the current product line of red, yellow, orange, and roma tomatoes on the vine. Intergrow made the decision to invest in a beefsteak program based on customer's demand for a locally grown beefsteak available year round.

Intergrow Greenhouses Inc. is a year-round greenhouse tomato producer based in New York State located along the shores of Lake Ontario. Founded in 1998, Intergrow ships across the North East and Midwest with their own fleet of reefer trailers, reducing food miles for retailers and distributors. Intergrow’s operation is one of the most sustainable in the business. With an almost entirely closed irrigation system, the greenhouse uses rainwater to irrigate the plants, and biomass fuel to heat the greenhouse that has a double curtain system, reducing heat demand to a minimum.
