Indianapolis, Indiana – Indianapolis Fruit Company, leading distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, floral and other essential produce items, is pleased to announce it will continue its annual trade show and golf outing format for 2017 despite earlier plans to discontinue the golf outing.
This year marked the 29th year for the local event that provides a relaxed atmosphere for Indy Fruit’s customers to get to know and reconnect with suppliers of fresh produce from across the country and the Indy Fruit procurement and sales teams. Customers can tour the Indy Fruit facility, meet one-on-one with suppliers and the Indy Fruit team, sample and order new products at the tradeshow, enjoy good food & drink at the casino after-party and play golf for fun and great prizes the next day.
“We were working on exciting, new touches for the 30th event in 2017 and, due to an overwhelmingly positive response, we will continue to host a golf outing as part of that event” said Greg Corsaro, president of Indianapolis Fruit Company. Reflecting on the notes of gratitude and comments on the July event, he added, “We are humbled and look forward to continuing our work with all of you to produce a fresh experience together.”
London Fruit representatives expressed gratitude for the chance to participate in this year’s event and shared that they had a good time, were pleased with the opportunity to visit with Indy Fruit’s customers and to be a resource to Indy Fruit, and look forward to strengthening their relationships with Indy Fruit and its customers as a result.
Antonia Mascari, assistant director of marketing of Indianapolis Fruit Company, followed-up, “Stay tuned. Watch your e-mail for updates on new, exciting things coming from Indy Fruit in 2017.”
