Indianapolis Fruit Company Promotes Fresh Labels & Packaging

Indianapolis, Indiana – Indianapolis Fruit Company, leading distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, floral and other essential produce items, is pleased to announce it has redesigned labels and packaging for its Garden Best and Garden Organic lines of fresh-pack items.

A new color scheme allows consumers to quickly differentiate conventional and organic items by using purple-highlighted packaging and labels for conventional fresh-pack items and orange-highlighted packaging and labels for organic products.  In addition, labels now use a white background to enable easier reading of the product description.  The new packaging and labels feature the distinctive leaf design that consumers have come to associate with their favorite high quality fresh-pack produce under the Garden Best and Garden Organic brands.

“We looked at several design, label and packaging options as part of our recent strategic planning efforts,” said Greg Corsaro, president of Indianapolis Fruit Company.  “The new colors are attractive and serve as a natural enhancement to our distinctive leaf design,” he added.

Indianapolis Fruit Company is approaching its 70th year of producing a fresh experience together with retailers and consumers.  “In addition to the new colors, we believe consumers will be pleased with packaging improvements designed to keep produce fresher longer,” added Antonia Mascari, assistant director of marketing of Indianapolis Fruit Company.

The redesigned labels and packaging are slated to start shipping April 4th, and will be featured at the annual golf outing and vendor showcase hosted by Indianapolis Fruit Company scheduled for July 25th and 26th.
