IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group Acquires EMA Inc.

SEATTLE, WA – IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group (IEH) announced today that it has acquired EMA (Environmental Micro Analysis) Inc. of Woodland, CA.

EMA Inc. has been serving the food, agricultural and environmental industries since 1988, offering analysis & testing services for pesticides, insecticides, fungicides & herbicides in fruits, vegetables, soils and waters including storm water, agricultural drainage, rivers and streams. EMA specializes in pesticide residue analysis (multiresidue screens and single residue methods) using FDA, EPA, California CDFA and custom analytical methods on a wide range of samples from raw agricultural products to ingredients and processed foods. EMA helps clients comply with international import/export tolerance issues, ensuring that their products meet standards set by the US EPA, European Union, Codex Alimentarius, and the Japanese “Positive List System”.

This latest acquisition extends the ability of IEH to provide a full range of testing capabilities with an emphasis on food related industries. It is consistent with IEH’s strategic plan to assist clients to produce the safest possible food products.
