Highline Mushrooms Raises Over $11K For Haiti

Leamington, Ontario February 5, 2010 In response to the devastating earthquake that
occurred in Haiti, Highline Mushrooms Associates rallied together and generously donated
money to bring relief to the many affected by this disaster.

As a multicultural company, Highline employs many Associates of various nationalities. When
Leamington farm Associate, Fritz Clerge, heard about the destruction that had occurred in his
home country, he was immediately concerned for the safety and well-being of his family and
friends, who still live in Haiti. He wanted to do something to help and approached Joel Wasson,
Director of Human Resources, about starting a Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. Wasson thought
this was a wonderful idea and said, Lets get this started and do this right away and make it as
easy as possible for our Associates to contribute.

To date, Highline Associates from the Leamington and Kingsville farms have contributed over
$11,000 to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. Wasson is not surprised by the generous
monetary donations, It shows the heart of our Associates. In addition, Highline will also match
the amount donated by each Associate.

In keeping with Highline family values: Excellence, Care, Respect, Effort, Integrity, Openness &
Fairness; not only does Clerge embody these values, he exemplifies what one persons initiative
can accomplish. Clerge is utterly grateful to his fellow Associates and to Highline for their
generous donations, Even $1 dollar will help and it comes from the bottom of their hearts. I
really appreciate their donations.

Highlines Wellington farm and Highline Distribution are also doing their part and raising money
to contribute to the relief fund. All donations collected will go to the Canadian Red Cross to help
aid relief efforts in Haiti.
