Leamington, Ontario – Highline Mushrooms is pleased to announce the recipients of its fourth Annual Family Scholarship. This year 10 post-secondary students, all of whom are the children of Highline Associates, received a combined total of $12,000 towards achieving their academic goals.

The scholarship program, designed to foster the values that Highline has always upheld – Integrity, Community Involvement, Scientific Exploration, Leadership, Perseverance, Shared Success, Respect for the Environment, and The Pursuit of Excellence – was introduced in 2009 to Highline Associates to help their children and/or grandchildren realize their goals through greater educational opportunities.

The winners completed a rigorous application process designed to evaluate their demonstration of these values. The applications were evaluated individually by selection committee members based on their academic records, extracurricular activities, community involvement and employment experience. Over the past four years, Highline has awarded nearly $50,000 to well-deserving students.
