The Guatemalan Produce Trade Association (GPTA) will hold its second meeting during the PMA’s Fresh Summit in Orlando, FL, on October 14th. During the meeting, members will discuss the future direction of the association and its goals for the coming year. The association was founding during the 2015 Fresh Summit when a group of major players in the Guatemalan produce import/export deal agreed to come together with the objective of expanding Guatemala’s position in the industry and marketplace.
“Over the past year, our assocaition has continued to grow, encompassing a variety of industry trade professionals committed to advancing Guatemalan trade and brand with the U.S.,” said Priscilla Lleras-Bush, GPTA Coordinator. “We look forward to the many beneficial areas the association will be able to affect in the future.”
