On April 11, 2010 Matt Witcher was hired as Director of Procurement for Gold Coast Packing, Inc., Santa Maria, CA.
Matt Witcher comes to Gold Coast Packing with over 16 years experience in the fresh produce industry. The last 6 years, Matt was a general partner with Reliable Produce Sourcing, LLC in Arroyo Grande, CA. Prior to his time with Reliable, Witcher spent 7 years at Apio Inc. Starting his career as a Quality Assurance Inspector, he eventually worked his way into a sales position with Apio’s Fruit division – Pacific West Produce, in the Central Valley of California. Witcher then advanced to Apio’s operations on the Central Coast where he was Director of Procurement and Field Operations.
In his new role with Gold Coast Packing, Witcher will manage all procurement responsibilities, grower relations and contracts, and raw material sourcing.
