Local Vendors Coalition inked a deal to get fresh Georgia-grown vegetables at the Whole Foods Market in Buckhead starting Jan. 5.
Local Vendors Coalition, an Atlanta-based marketing association, handles the logistics of getting farmers market-quality produce into grocery chains, restaurants and other buyers. Farmers join Local Vendors Coalition for a monthly fee and the coalition connects the sellers and the buyers. The organization is a member of the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Grown program.
Whole Foods Market Buckhead is at 77 West Paces Ferry Rd.
