Newark, Delaware – This year more than 18,500 fresh produce and floral industry professionals from over 60 countries will gather at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, October 23-25, for Produce Marketing Association’s 66th annual Fresh Summit Convention and Expo. Attendees and exhibitors will share ideas and innovations, network and gain access to educational opportunities to discuss the latest trends, tips and key issues of the produce and floral industries.
More than 1,000 exhibitors will reveal creative products with inventive booth displays, covering over 270,000 net square feet of expo floor. Exhibitors also have the opportunity to take advantage of the Fresh Ideas Showcase, a series of display cases located outside the exposition halls in the Innovation@work area. The high-traffic destination is a great spot for Fresh Summit attendees looking to discover new products and fresh innovations in one place before heading onto the expo floor.
The Fresh Ideas Showcase, formerly named the New Products Showcase, will house more than 180 fresh product innovations from 165 companies. Two of the areas will be specially-focused on “Just 4 Kids” and “On-the-Go.”
In the Just 4 Kids Showcase, exhibitors will present their products appealing specifically to children, including products like eat brighter!™-branded packaging.
Brand new this year is the On-the-Go Showcase. Here, exhibitors can share their products and services for healthy eating on-the-go or at home.
Winners of each category in The Best of Show Contest, including Best Product Promo which is open solely to Fresh Ideas Showcase participants, will be announced Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. on the show floor. The winners will be determined by a group of industry professional judges during show hours.
Attendees can view contest guidelines and receive additional information about the Fresh Ideas Showcase at http://www.freshsummit.com.
