Four Seasons Produce Named Corporate Citizen Of The Year

Ephrata, PA (November 2, 2010) – The Central Penn Business Journal named Four Seasons Produce, Inc. “Corporate Citizen of the Year” at its seventh annual Business of the Year Awards event, held Monday, November 1, 2010. Selected from among five finalists, Four Seasons Produce receive the award due to the company’s ability to demonstrate a sustained commitment to its employees and community.

Corporate Citizen of the Year honorees were selected by the independent judging panel. Nominees could be public or privately-held companies, but had to be for-profit entities headquartered or with significant operations in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and/or York counties.

The 2010 Business of the Year Awards judges were: Dana Chryst CEO of The Jay Group in Lancaster; Gordon Freireich President of The Newton Group, LLC in York; Robert Lyon, the Chairman/President/CEO of Millers Mutual Group in Harrisburg; Richard Poole, former founder and CEO of Poole Construction in Harrisburg; William Ruhl, retired Chairman, President and CEO of D&E Communications in Lancaster; and Bobby Simpson CEO of Crispus Attucks Association of York.
