INDIO, Calif. — DiMare Fresh welcomes Bob Wright and Charlotte Vernon to their team.
A veteran in the produce industry, Wright brings a breadth of knowl-edge and executive leadership and management skills to the DiMare International team with over 25 years of experience.
Prior to joining the DiMare International, Bob managed the operations at Jacobs Farm/ Del Cabo, built and managed Tesco’s North American produce facility and led the renovation and restructuring efforts for Ready Pac Foods to name a few. In his new role, Bob will be leading the expansion of DiMare International, which is the organics division.
“I am looking forward to expanding DiMare’s full line of organics to a national program and offer our customers innovative programs at a local level,” says Wright.
“The organic category continues to expand in the fresh produce space and I am looking forward to building DiMare’s presence there. Moving forward, our plan is to offer a full line of organics with emphasis on lo-cally grown product,” said Wright.
Vernon previously at SunWorld International, brings over 30 years of experience with a strong emphasis on business development and sales to her new role as a DiMare Indio Sales Associate. Her appointment comes at a time of major growth for DiMare Indio, citrus division.
“Charlotte has a successful track record in sales and category management and will be instrumental in expanding our citrus program,” said Woody Johnson, General Manager of DiMareIndio.
