On August 1st a new repacking operation opened its doors for the Produce Industry in Miami, Florida. This is a Joint Venture that unifies the synergies of two main actors of the Produce Industry.
Decofrut Inc., a long time service provider of Quality Control, Consultant, Repacking and Re-Styling Services in USA and worldwide (South America, Europe & Asia), who contributes with their experience, well trained and experience personnel and the KNOW HOW of managing repacking operations in other locations such as Philadelphia for over 8 years.
Flora Logistics, who has the most advanced refrigerated warehouse in Miami using only an “Ammonia Cooling System”, which extends the shelf life of the products, with different zones temperature refrigerated cooler warehouse of 350,000 sq. ft.
The facility is open 365 days a year, and 24 hours a day, with 47 dock doors to load from, and the parent company, “Florida Beauty Express” provides 380 refrigerated vehicles of 53 ft., that cover the entire 48 states, with full and LCL truck loads. Recently the facility has been granted the rights from U.S. Customs and is now officially a Foreign Trade Zone, which opens up many other opportunities in the industry.
