Brooks, OR – Curry & Company has formed an exclusive multi-year partnership with Suncrest Produce Solutions LLC of Lake Wales, Florida.
Suncrest is owned by 20-year industry veteran Jason Turner. Suncrest is a large importer of Peruvian sweet onions and this partnership allows these imports to become a part of Curry & Company’s 52-week per year vertically integrated sweet onion program. More than 200 containers of Peruvian Sweet Onions will be shipped this coming fall and winter in this partnership.
Curry & Company is currently in the midst of their Vidalia® Sweet Onion program and Walla Walla sweets start in June. Vidalia onions started harvest mid-April and will be available through August.
Turner will assist Curry & Company with sales, marketing and production during the 2013 Vidalia onion season and then help transition to Peruvian sweets in the fall.
