CASHMERE, Wash. — Along with the company’s favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks, Crunch Pak is going to the Super Bowl this year.
The company’s fresh apple sliced products will be stocked in the halftime perfomers’ dressing rooms, said Tony Freytag, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“This is an extension of what we do in Hollywood at the award shows,” Freytag said. “The same company that produces the Academy Awards® and the People’s Choice Awards is producing the halftime show and they asked us to supply fresh product backstage for Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”
Crunch Pak is often served backstage as a healthy snack at award shows including last night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
In addition to being AT the Super Bowl, Crunch Pak is running a message of support for the Seahawks this week on its giant electronic billboard located in New York City’s Time Square.
“We are thrilled to be able to support our favorite team in such a visible location in the heart of the city,” Freytag said.
The billboard is located at 1541 Broadway, and is the only bi-directional screen in Times Square with screens that measure 10-feet by 90-feet.
