Diane Douglas has been promoted to Vice President of Research and Development at Concord Foods. Diane has been the Director of Research and Development for over 11 years. Diane is responsible for all Concord Foods Divisions, retail, food service and ingredients. Under her leadership, Concord Foods has developed a reputation for excellence and innovation with international retailers and food service operators. Diane has directed the development of many successful produce related retail products such as Concord Foods Guacamole Mix, Apple Crisp Mix and Chiquita® Banana Bread Mix.
At Concord Foods, Diane is well known for being forward thinking and establishing technical excellence throughout her team. This excellence can be seen in Concord’s ingredient division (Oringer) with the introduction of no sugar added caramels and bake stable caramels, both developed under her leadership. Many of Diane’s innovative ingredients are found in the country’s most popular candies and nutrition bars. In Diane’s new role, she will oversee product development and process improvements for all the Concord Foods divisions.
