Columbine Vineyards Continues Their Tradition Of Giving Back

Columbine Vineyards, a growing company with a focus on family, sustainability and quality, continues their tradition of giving back.  Columbine has a long history of working with the community and for over four generations has supported the efforts of local non-profit organizations.

Columbine Vineyards partners with the Community Action Partnership of Kern, also known as CAPK, an organization that administers programs aimed at meeting children, families and individuals at their point of need.  “Columbine Vineyards is making a positive impact by extending support in a program referred to as, ‘Farm to Food Bank to Family’,” said John Carter, Columbine Vineyards’ Facilities Director.  Columbine’s donations to CAPK have helped the organization’s goal of meeting the nutritional needs of the economically disadvantaged in Kern County.

In 2014, Columbine Vineyards also donated to the Bakersfield Golden Empire Gleaners and to the Porterville Gleaners, both local non-profits whose mission is to help alleviate hunger and to provide food to people of all ages.  “The work that the non-profits do in our community are invaluable, and we are pleased to be able to help them in their efforts,” said John Carter.
